Good luck to everyone, especially the four archers going to the SETU Area in Waterford for the European Indoor Archery Competition (EIAC). You'll do great guys!

On the 13th and 14th of September, we competed in the National IFAF Bowhunter Championship in Killygarry Archers up in Co. Caven. There were over 132 competitors  from all ages and categories. all 8 of our archers achieved medals 

On the August bank holiday us and Limerick Field Archery club hosted the first North Munster 100. There were over 89 competitors, from all ages groups and  categories were in attendance over the two days. On Saturday, it was held here, in Black Castle Archers. At 10am the shooting started and the show was on the road.

On July 12 and 13, Our club went to Inverness Field Archery Club in Scotland for UKIFAC 2025. Over 85 archers competed from all age groups and categories. 5 out of the 7 archers achieved medals

Our club is proud to awarded an AED, as part of the fundraising by Jose Sanz.

On Sunday March 24th we hosted our first IFAF competition, despite the damp weather, over 60 archers in all age groups and most categories were in attendance.  At 10 .30 am the muster talk and teams selection completed, the archers went to their designated targets, and the competition began. As an added treat, some of our junior members had hidden a selection of easter eggs throughout the forest for all the youth members to find along the way. We allowed any adult members to find the remaining eggs after the lunch break ( according to one archer, this was like we were putting them into the hunger games)

With  our first competition this year coming up shortly, our very dedicated woods crew are back on the ground, finding new  and unique shots  on our course

On Saturday February 24th 2024, Na Laoch Dala Archers hosted the IFAF INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS in the SETU arena in Waterford, 100 archers competed  at all age groups and categories, two of our youth members brought home gold. Chris Ocampo in junior barebow recurve and Jasmine Ocampo in Junior flatbow. Chris also attained the national record in his category. Well done guys!!!!

On March 10th 2024, 8 of our archers travelled to Dunbrody to compete in their standard 2 arrow round.  For such a wet morning approx 80 archers showed up to compete. The rain at first made shooting tough, thankfully it dried off.  The course was as always tough, but well set up , a credit to the guys in Dunbrody.
